'Ello, I hear you're remarkably busy, so just a quicky. Has anyone written a Post entry about Glastonbury yet? I had a convo with KazSorell who pointed me in your direction, and if nothing's sorted yet, I'm up for filling the gap (albeit for the next issue). The things I thought of covering are in the convo on KS's PS: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/F1974935?thread=675200 (sorry for the excessive address, still a bit fuzzy on posting links to convos!)

You're a star. Cover what you think is appropriate, but i personally am as interested in the Glastonautical experience (the floods, the stuff away from the stages, getting in and out, trying to sleep) as much as 'heard Coldplay, they were great/average/enough to drive a man to drink'.
cheers again!

Cool. How many words you looking for?
Oh piddle, I've committed myself now!
BTW, I avoided Coldplay.

It's up to you. We can always split it over a few issues if it grows to monster size (that's what happened to my convention memoirs anyway).

Righty. I shall proceed with vigour.

Getting there, but I keep changing tack and ditching stuff (I seem to have perfected the DNA writing backwards thing).
How long have I got?

Official deadline is noon on Sunday next (17th) but we can stretch that if you're nearly done. Sooner the better, if possible, obviously...

I'm liable to be improbably hungover come Sunday noon, oddly enough...
I should have it done over the next couple of days.

'Ello,
Nice to see the new born! Can I submit the Glasto thing in 2 parts? It's becoming a bit of a monster & I haven't even got round to pitching my tent yet!

I've just e-mailed the finished bit (up to the start of the rain). Not too happy with it, needs funnies, but I reckon something's better than nothing! I've written more, but it's currently rubbish. I'll try to get it done by Sunday, but have just had a deadline 'adjusted' at w**k, so it may be late.

Hopefully! Still writing backwards, unfortunately, so may have to send chunks as I finish them (it's all there, but not very good at the moment). If it weren't for that pesky London meet...
Can I blame 2legs?

Blame away, as has been mentioned you can break it into smaller articles to run in successive Post's if you want, don't knock yourself out if you can't get it done on time

That's good. You know how it is when one sentence just refuses to be well written and before you know it the time's ten past eleven.
Oh blimey. Ten-past-eleven. Hmmm.

Oh I know writer's block very well, I've 3 half written stories on my computer at the moment

My problem is I tend to forget about plotting, plough straight in, write several pages of character development and conversation, then get completely stuck.
Not a problem in this case (though remembering the plot has been a little trying!)
