Sounds good. I'm still looking for somewhere that sells "Zulu"esque pith helmets. Just because they're 100 years out-of-date people think they are unfashionable, and don't sell them.
I don't care if they're fashionable or not, I just want one.

Ah.
Do you the number of the Double Decker bus and if it was going out or in?

London is the capital city of England... over in to the west of Europe, on a little blue-green planet in sector ZZ9 plural Z alpha
and you'd probably be able to get a few in a shop or at a market stall that sells fezzes

i shall have to do that sometime though it's a suprising amount of trouble getting there from my humble village, with no car i have to get a bus or cycle to somewhere with a station, or get a lift which is generally easier. I am also still under the power of my parents.

Well, having left the power of parents to some extent (graduate student) and without a car/driving licence, I am under the power of The Public Transport System (and my pocket) if I want to go anywhere out of my walking/cycling range.

I haven't seen many fezes around, but if you go to London and the Millennium Dome and the Body, there's a brain wearing a fez. I suggest you go there when no-one else is there (any time will do, then) and just climb over the barrier and steal the fez.
