As they discovered in The Meaning Of Life, the Meaning of Lief is that people aren't wearing enough hats.
That's why I've started a Fez collection. I have four fezes, a Moroccan fez, a Turkish fez, a blue fez and a "feminine fez" that looks like all the others, but is more colourful.

no, _my_ mice - 2 little wooden ones with little leather ears and tails. they are called the mice (individually, they are one of the mice)

My boyfriend greets me by saying "It's the Hat! Where are the mice, Hat?"

my hats won't all fit on it though
