Didn't win thankfully on those. £160 plus £20 postage for a DS is a little excessive if you ask me.

Think I'll wait til the uk release in the new year I reckon, the retail price should be a good £30-50 less than what they're going for on Ebay at the moment.

The bids are starting to get silly, one's just gone for £190 plus £20 postage.

Nintendo's new flagship handheld, and eventual successor to the Gameboy Advance.

Ah right, I see.
I'm someone for whom gaming came to an end with Defender back in about 1981. So I'm rather behind the times these days.

Ah it's little miss bad influence Look what you've got me into Fords! I am winning at the mo, but with this stuff the competition is cutthroat. The highest I saw one go today was over the £200 and that didn't include postage from the States. I'm not going above £120 and with two hours to go my chances in reality are nada.
Yeah I know I've got a PC 2legs, and I know I can play games on that. There's just something about nintendo handhelds that just screams "I want one!".

Got quite a nice collection of Gameboys
I've had every single revision of the Gameboy up til the GBA. I never got the SP as I was out of work and strapped for cash at the time.
If I could add the Nintendo DS to the list I'd be a happy .
The people I feel sorry for are the parents at the moment buying their kiddywinkles Gameboy Advance SP's for Christmas, unbeknown to them that the DS will be out over here for March and the whole cycle starts again.

The whole thing with release dates for new 'devices' varying round the world is so stupid; its like the new phone I was looking at, well PDA/phone, the Nokia 9500, first released in: United Arab Emerittes don't know wher eit went next, but it came out early Nov in the UK, but won't be for ages in the US, they have done no advertising in the US, but I already know a couple of people on one of my techy mailing lists who've ordered them from the UK to get one now to use in teh US seems very odd to me don't know what version of the Nintendo gayboy I'd ahve usd, whatever the one was about early 91 or 92 I guess

That'd be the original one then
Didn't win the auction, was outbid in the last few minutes and the price skyrocketed just like I thought it would. £160 plus postage for a gray import console just isn't worth it if you ask me.
