New Identity
Posted Dec 3, 1999
I've decided to do a sort of 'alter-ego' thing. 2 researchers on one computer. He'll be called Jonathan Brisby (duh!) In case of times of need when something like this would be handy (like having friends over who want to do stuff on the guide).

My counter
Posted Nov 27, 1999
My counter has been acting very strangely. Earlier today it said I'd had 12 visitors. Now it's shot down to 7. Wierd.

The Clan
Posted Nov 27, 1999
Not to long ago, I was thinking about what I call The Clan. You know, that band of high-profile, respected and cool researchers/sub-editors. They hang round each other, linking up their homepages, having exclusive conversations and working all sorts of techno-jiggery. I thought of it as a sort of 'h2g2 skiddiness'(not that any of them are skids-they are far too cool and mature).
Then I remembered the homepages that I'd seen belonging to some normal researchers. Neglected for months, with only a guide entry and a few forum posts alongside it. Naturally, I was horrified.
So now I've decided I want to tag along with The Clan for a bit. Unbelievably skid-like behaviour, you could say. Well, I'm going to do it anyway. Plenty of eye-candy awaits me!
Meanwhile, I'm going to do something about these dead homepages. Inject a bit of life into them, start a new conversation or two, send a few colonies of smilies. Maybe The Necromancer Of Lost Threads would be interested?

Updated stuff

I've put some dedications on History Of Eric Clapton and Blind Faith. 'Cos those people deserve to be remembered.
And I've written about An American Tail. It's an alright film, I reckon.
