I rarely write anything in my journal any more smiley - sadface

I went through my forums, all those hundreds of them. It made me very sad to see all the early ones that had died smiley - sadface. I noticed my style, back then, was much more innocent. I never swore.
I think I was a better researcher back then, to be honest. I went round and posted where and when I wanted. I don't any more.
I prefer my older articles. In my personal quest to know loads about HM bands and things I like, things have got a lot less personal with these things, if you understand me. Now it's just a case of "me read book, me relay facts".

So, I sing myself an Iron Maiden song:

"So, understand,
Don't waste your time always searching for those wasted years,
Face up, make your stand,
And realise you're living in the golden years."

Internet leave-stuff it!

The 'net leave went alright, but I've still got a whopping big phone bill to look forward to. Damn.

Anyway, I've written more guide entries. Why not have a look at them?

In real life, I've got the covers of various Iron Maiden singles (on my computer), and I'm drawing Secret Of NIMH versions of them. I'm about halfway through Running Free, and I've forgotten how to draw Jonathan properly. Ho-hum...
Oh yeah, I should be doing my own SoN website in two weeks, so I'll put them up on there. Yahoo!

Internet leave

I won't be on h2g2 until February 1st. You want to talk to me, you can mail me (that'll encourage you to read everything up there!)

24 hours of real time talk with Lisa The Freak, and we're on the front page! I never had that in mind when I was talking. I was just having a conversation, man!
It goes to show you don't have to be a high-profile researcher with 1000 well-read entries with contributions to every official thing on h2g2 to get there. I can go to school tommorrow happy with myself.
