The crime was spoofing. The punishment is public humiliation. I do so love a drawing and quartering.
My studio is open at http://www.h2g2.com/A304354 and you're welcome to visit.
Happy Easter!

And by my last emailette you now know a bit about Rocky & Bullwinkle. "Hey Rocky! Watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat!" is a sentence that is part of American culture (if you can call it that) (but save that for the thread I've just come from), as long as it is delivered in the approriate voice. I wish I could do it right.
Do you want more chart observations or have you gone into shock?

Mike A (snowblind) Posted Apr 23, 2000
Shame we only hear about a word or two from the squirrel. He sounds cute.
But lo! You gave me links. Ok, when i'm finished here, I'll check 'em out
Yeah, actually, the chatr observations are pretty daunting *^_^*. I'll have to give them -another- hard read. Oooh, I've got so much stuff from you to catch up on!
It seems a bit of an anticlimax, you've sent me these big emails about the chart, and all I can do is nod my head in agreement!

Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence Posted Apr 23, 2000
Well, you tell me what I need to know, really, which is that you feel in accord with what you read, even if you're up to your ears in it. Unfortunately, I have more to tell you; for completeness sake I have to say something about the rest of the main bits in the chart so that you don't reach skewed conclusions.
Being the perfect Virgo, hm?, thinking you'll need to respond to EVERY point. (See how it takes one to know one!) If there's some item I'm curious to hear your response about, I'll ask again.
Let me also dig up the URL where I got the sound clips. There were whole bunches that will tell you what all the characters sound like.

I need to remind myself how this Virgo comes into it, seeing I'm a Libra.
Please, more links! I must know more about the squirrel!

Ascendant in first degrees of Virgo, Mars and Venus both in Virgo, and Jupiter in 6th (which I haven't talked about yet)!
I will email audio link -- I found a site with a gazillion wav files for most of the major cartoon characters. Gold mine.
I hope you're studying some. *Looks relieved that she didn't slip and add "young man"*
breaking news: Ioreth is going to open a virtual ice cream parlour!

So, a lot of these planets are coinciding with Virgo, making it applicable to my nature? That sounds right.
Checked my mail and got a message from Katsy. Another imsomniac
Studying will come in good time. Plus there's a week of school and homework before the SATS. But I -will- do some revision. For my own sake.
Be ready for he ice creams, I will
MORE NEWS: Iron Maiden have finished their new album, Brave New world. A release date is yet to be decided.
Actually, that news is three days old. Oh well, the single The Wickerman is out in two weeks. Yikes!

Wickerman?? That's druidic, stuff, same as your dream. Wooo.
Nothing else to say: just put email in the data tube.
YESSSSSSSS!
Mike A (snowblind) Posted Apr 27, 2000
I saw, I was something like 1007 yesterday (or was that number today?). I thought "sweet jesus."
You're always in the right place at the right time, aren'tcha?

Be a long long time (or maybe not) before a number with 3 zeroes rolls round again. I'm just on for a few minutes after getting back from delivering trial copies of work I did practically all night. munnymunnymunny. I have to go be with the phone. Oh! hey, I just remembered, one of the machines in the office has a modem. OK, but I won't check email tilll I come back in the house in a few hrs.
mumblin to myself. Look forward to hearing about your excellent day!
A sloth (just looked this up to be sure) is about 2 feet long with insignificant ears and a sort of squashed in face. They have great difficulty moving across the ground, and even in trees they move remarkably slowly. What a great pet. You can hold him if you want.

*holds Mindspring*
Everyone loves The Beatles, don't they? Even I did when I was a kid
When you start seeing large numbers on a counter, it means that significant numbers are fewer and further between.
Ok, now I got a challenge of sending you mail tonight. Will certainly do. Do you want me to say more about the rabbits?
Vince "*cherching*. moneymoneymoney bob"
Rex the Runt is so cool and Wendy is sexy.
I got this great solo from Killers (the song) in my head. The bloke goes
"I can see
What a life's meant to be
You'll never know
How I can to forsee-see-see"
And he pumps out the last bits and Dave Murray leaps in with a solo that is just impossible to describe. It is so cool beyong belief. You can read my 'review' of Killers, the album, if you want

You take on a very heavy challenge, trying to put musical experiences into words...
What about rabbits? WD rabbits or RL rabbits?
*takes Mindspring back* my turn. He don't do much, but it's better than a stuffed animal.
{on my office machine which is older and slower and only 800 X 600, so everything looks very odd}

Mike A (snowblind) Posted Apr 27, 2000
That's one reason why I wrote the album review. I was heavily in love with it at the time, and was trying to put info in it without saying "each song is just too brilliant!"
If I wanted to test myself, I could try to do a song-by-song review od Slayer's Decade Of Aggression. 21 songs, all sound similar, and I get brainache if I listen to too much of it. Honestly, that album is a monster.
Real life rabbits. One of them looks like a Watership Down rabbit, and it is my favourite
Everything looks odd, eh? I see my homepage on other peoples computers, and it looks at bit freaky.
My monitor is at 1024x768. It's been like that for so long I can't imagine it any other way. (It wasn't always like this.)

So is my notebook, and now the new brute is, the Pentium III. In fact, the Mitsubishi monitor that I got to go with the new CU will do 1600 X 1200, which is really really cool until you try to read anything. It will be great when I have big CAD applications that I need to see all of at once, but effectively you can't beat 1024 X 768. OK, rabbits on two threads now Opportunistic beasties. If your friend's rabbits get it on, maybe you can get some kits? Babies, I mean. Baby rabbits.

CU? CAD? You lucky person *^_^*
Thing is, once they start having kids they won't stop! I'd love to have the opportunity to take on some of the little devils, you can't have enough rabbits in the world. But, man, it's just not gonna happen
Actually, I've been told I could take on some baby terrapins from one of Urchin's friends (who's on h2g2 but hasn't done much). I'm just sans pond!

Shoulda been CPU not CU. And CAD as in Computer-Aided Design. AutoCAD is one of the hardest user apps in the whole world, I think. You have to know how to do technical drawing before you even start (which I don't), and then become familar with working on a computer that might have several monitors going at once. Even Painter can do that (work multi-monitor) even though Win98 can't. You have your image free and clear on one screen and all those little control windows on the other. Which reminds me, I need to scan another one of those pics I took the other day of my house.

I may not be able to write tonight.
Working multi-monitor...bloody hell, who'd do that?!
I seem to be starting another habit...of saying "bloody hell". Said it a few times today...
