The internet as we know it would also appear to be not as we know it.
It is a host for far more than a means of mere electronic data transfer.
Our universe is not alone.
Universes are as abundant as cats in a trout farm. Not of course meaning to suggest that all universes are in any way related to trout farms. Or other fisheries. Or indeed their feline counterparts. There exists an infinite number of dimensions and every universe taps into any number of these. It is here that the smiley starts its existence.
The smiley. :-)
For what appears to be the combination of a few characters displayed on a screen is in fact something far greater. What we perceive as a smiley, used to represent some kind of emotion, is in fact a gateway onto another universe. Not a gateway that we ourselves can traverse, but a gateway nevertheless. Smileys are in fact a universe in their own right.
A smiley is a vast intellect that exists as a whole universe. But smiley universes are not just restricted to the bounds of their own dimensions. It is in their very nature that they are able to tap into other universes and interact with them in many wierd and wonderful ways. It is in this way that smileys communicate with each other. It is also in this way that we see smileys, for they tap into other universes, including our own, in the same way as each others. They produce a smiley on our screen. ;-)
Smileys are for the main part harmless. Their only hatred is for those that try to entrap and abuse them. Smileys do not like Bill Gates or his all too well known software company known as Microsoft. For Microsoft applications are becoming increasingly 'smiley compliant'. They support smileys. They entrap smileys. They turn them into a single on screen character of specific smiley design. It is in this way that Bill intends to use smileys for his own ends. But smileys are not willing to become trapped so easily. The smileys seek to infiltrate Microsoft whereby they will then destroy this organisation. Smileys diversify. They cannot be ultimately trapped. For there are near infinite variations. 8-)
Other than this vendetta they are not to be feared and should be used without hesitation. Give a smiley a home. Make it feel welcome in our universe. Add them to your web page.
