Insurance has gone up from £325 to nearly £700. 
This is due to 'my fault' claim F35977?thread=7293629 where some scumbag smashed my van up and ran away.
I don't know what's worse, the fact that they are so far listing the claim as my fault, that despite me only getting £1250 they are listing their losses at nearly DOUBLE that at £2200, or the fact they've just charged me £30 as an 'admin fee' for renewals.

Presumably you're not in a position to pick and choose insurers, either.

Well, yes and no. Any insurance co that does vans will insure me. What I need that most of them don't cover, is the travel kennels. I spent over £2k on them, and if the van is nicked, catches fire or is completely demolished not many insurance companies will cough up for them as they cost more than the van!
But also, if I stay with them and they do get the other guy to cough up, it will be simpler for them to refund me the extra premiums and put my no claims bonus back how it was. I assume.
