Don't you love hit and run drivers?

That's my neighbour's house, btw, smacked it well hard.

Gosh, this is the BBC. I can't possibly say how I feel about this. Found my new van - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280463577089

It should be showing as 'ended' now I've put a deposit on it.

We collect Saturday.

LPG?

Is that fairly easy to get in the UK nowadays?

There's a petrol station right near me which has three pumps, and one near the A12 which isn't too far from me. Never noticed at other petrol stations, but for local travel I shouldn't have too much of a problem. And another sales point. smiley - winkeye

the company told the reporter who is writing the story that the driver of the other vehicle is claiming it was 'the other way round' and has allegedly told that to the police. So obviously they've found him!

At least he is admitting to being involved and hopefully the CCTV and the the eye witness will clear that one up...

Posts are the worst though. Just jump right out in front of you! Or more normally, behind you. Shame really.

PC Copper rang last night at like, 10pm?! Tried to ring back this morning as he'd given me a direct line to the copshop, but some bloke (who sounded blindingly awake for before 6am) told me it was a wrong number. I didn't believe him. He just sounded copperish, you know?

Def a write off. £5k worth of repairs needed! They've valued it at £1850, which is nearly twice what I thought they would, so that's a row I don't need to have. After the excess I'll have £1600 to play with! The new van cost me £1500, so woohoo I've made £100. Although it needs some work and obv my business stuff refitted.

Legal team is being instructed today, so should be going after the company who own the van who hit me. smiley - biggrin

Good.

I mean, obviously it's bad that it all happened. But good to be saved a row and good if you just about break even. We're still paying for the fallout from DH's drive through the big puddle (mind you, that was his fault).

I'm not really here

Just finished typing up my takings/outgoings for last financial year. I'd started to go into 'credit' in September, not much, just a few hundred, so was thinking I'd make a profit this year, maybe small, but at least I'd know if this was going to work, or if I should give up and get a 'proper' job.

Then my outgoings in Feb and Jan were twice what every other month had been. smiley - wah

So I have no idea if business is going well or not.

And would you believe it, the bloke who hit my van, beat my brother up with a HAMMER while I was away. smiley - blue Apparently unrelated, he has got himself into that sort of trouble before, but you never know.
