I am CRAZY!!

Where do I start? Went for a few drinks tonight with Caprice. Oh man....I actually enjoyed her company. The difference between us is that she lives in the present and I LIVE IN FANTASY LAND....My hand itches, it has all night, I guess it's going to rain. Oh yeah, my hand that's another story. How long has it been.....11 years, I was drinking shots of tequilla with friend of mine from college, Will. (who later was having sex with Caprice) We decided, after 15 or so shots, that it was a good idea to take a blood oath. ha ha ha. He worked at a knife shop, pulled out the sharpest knife known to man. I had just broken up with Caprice. She was screwing around with some military guy. I just tried to cut my hand off. Damn near suceeded...After the surgery they did manage to connect the nerves back together, but the whole side of my hand is still numb. I had like 50 something stitches, I hit an artery, they wondered why I was alive.... Me too..Conditioning, I was a hell of an athlete back then. 4 months of physical therapy. I guess I didn't mention that I tried to kill her too... Yeah, went to her house with a knife. I was going to kill her and then drive to the fort and Kill the guy she was sleeping with. I got to her house, called her outside and stabbed a big knife into her picnic table...I told her never to talk to me again, just, please leave me alone..It wasn't the other guy as much as that she would just keep calling me. Trying to get back together... but she couldn't stop screwing around... even told me that we could date but she would still be with this other guy. That's enough to push you straight over the edge. She told me I needed help and I believed her. I found the knife in Will's car that night that I cut my hand.
She's so pretty....Hasn't changed a bit...I just want to ask her if we can try it again. What is my deal? It's almost laughable. I won't see her for a while, I'll get over this crap. I think?

Out of Town

Going out of town for a production job. I am freelancing for another production company as a production assistant. This should be fun. It's about 3 hours away and they are putting me up in a very nice hotel for the next couple of days.
Went to an Oktoberfest this weekend and had a great time. All kinds of wild drinking games. They had a Keg race that went on for at least a 200 meters. Guys were rolling Kegs over, around and under obstacles, chugging beer at various stages. At the end each team member placed their head on the upright keg, spun around the keg 4 times, and then ran for the finish line. How nobody was injured you ask? I have no idea.

The unwanted usher

I received a call earlier in the year to be in a friends wedding. I hadn't seen the guy in nearly 5 years. He was really scraping the bottom of the barrel. This is the 5th time I've been an usher or groomsman or whatever you call those guys. Officially, this was my last time. $100 for the Tuxedo rental, $200 for the 2 night stay in hotel room. $150 for food, beer and other essentials. $50 in gas. I'm now broke. If it wasn't for the fact that Christian is the type of guy that would do anything for you I would have said no. Being a good groomsman, I did manage to upset the mother of the bride. When I went to seat her, I asked her if she was with the bride or groom. Wow! I thought she was going to have a coronary. Tried to apologize and tell her that I just asked the last 30 people I sat the same question. She was so upset that when I went to escort her out after the ceremony she refused my arm. Her husband jumped in front of me and said "let me take her". SO, I went to the reception and got good and trashed. (snicker) Danced with the groom, did the YMCA, was in as much of the video / photos as I possibly could be in. Oh yeah, they won't soon forget Kane. When the bride's mom looks through the photos I would love to hear what she has to say about me. I wouldn't be so bitter if it wasn't for the fact that I was really trying to do a good job.

Caprice

A year later and I'm still dealing with Caprice. Her life is never dull. Maybe that's why I keep in touch with her. The Med Student (referred to before as doctor) Bryan, she has managed to keep dating. Hmmm lets see how I can recap her years events....I think I'll make a list.
1. Fired from job at local abortion center for reportedly having sex on her desk. (Denied of course) lol
2. Decided to take on large loan to open a childcare center. She thought she would be "sitting at home collecting checks" I think were her exact words.
3. Problems getting loan. Solution, sleep with loan officer. Loan officer lies to bank, helps her fill out fraudulent paper work and fictional background.
4. Caprice gets loan.
5. Caprice single handedly destroys daycare business in about 8 months.
6. Caprice takes on two other jobs just to pay bills of childcare center and angry employees.
7. Caprice goes bankrupt, Daycare shuts down due to some kind of fire code and angry employees go to local news station. Something about claims of fraud and not getting paid, no insurance and whole host of other mean and nasty problems.
8. News station follows Caprice around and interviews lots of people. (Station I worked for at one time)
9. Caprice can no longer afford rent and moves in with boyfriend. Who is not too happy about the whole situation and will not help her move.
10. Idiot Kane helps her move. In the rain. Chased by a camera crew from local news station. It rained all day.
11. Kane wonders if current girlfriend will see him on the news helping ex-fiancé move. (Yeah, I lied, told her I was helping a friend move...Seemed like the thing to do at the time.)
12. Luckily the story has not yet been aired.
13. I did get a lot of cool new office furnitre very, very cheap.

One Year Later

Wow it's been a year since I was here. I just wrote a big long blog and accidentally deleted it. Just great! I will now sum up. My business partner was a crook, conman and all around jerk. I have another company that is doing much better. When people found out that I was not with my business partner anymore, my business tripled. Amazing! I now work from home, make a lot more money and work a lot less. No business scheduled today, so I guess it's a day off. I had an argument with my girlfriend on Friday and I think it's over between us. It's ashame, she is a good woman. I'm really not looking forward to dating again. I will now walk to the mailbox to see if anyone has sent me a check. I LOVE MY JOB!
