You do realise you could have stretched that out indefinitely and exhorted a tidy sum of money out of me into the bargain, don't you?

Not too nice to give me a heart condition though, eh?
In the midst of all that, almost unnoticed, egon signed up Another man...

I really would be scraping the bottom of the barrel on t'other side, so it's probably best to pencil me in behind the lens from the off, but I'll agree to be their very very last reserve.

If it were possible for me to get down to Devon, I'd certainly give it a go. I have a very good cricketing brother and father, so I'm sure it'll've rubbed off somehow, right?

Bea, the Cavaliers *are* the bottom of the barrel. even if you're sediment and dead yeast, you're still fractionally above us
In fact, Vip has the best pedigree of us all!

ahem! I used to play cricket for my school. and I played for my regiment in a Christmas tournament once (before 20/20 was invented we played 10/10 or until your side were all out... that was my best result ever... all out for 9)

Sho - employed again! Posted Dec 28, 2008

I've got that scene in my head now...was it "Oh, What a Lovely War"? Where they're all playing cricket in no man's land bowling grenades to each other...
The Cavaliers
Sho - employed again! Posted Dec 29, 2008
not using hand grenades? I'm not coming then...
(btw, we really rather prefer to watch cricket these days, both being nearer to... hmmmm 30 than 29, if you know what I mean) But the Gruesomes' teddy bears are named after cricketers: Geoffrey, Darren, Freddie, Rachel...

"So who would be into the idea of a late spring Meet/match down in dere old Deb'n?"
I see my name is on the list despite the copyright and patents surrounding it
Seriously, though, it sounds like a laugh, and I could probably use the adventure.
