If you retaliate, you are the one to get locked up.This worked for someone near me.She was held overnight for pushing one of the many yobs that were bothering her constantly, off her wall. She like me is a grandmother. There was such a public outcry it made the local paper, then the national papers picked it up.She has never had any trouble since. The police, who up till then had done nothing to help her now keep a beady eye on her property. She said it was all a bit scary but well worth it.Failing all that, when they are wrecking your pond, throw a live electrical cable in it,that should do it

Sorry I came to this late. Rich, I remember once that you shared your hotel website on site, Would you consider doing it again? Tell you for why:
*ahem* All of us past and present (and future) customers of your hotel can write to your local papers and tell them that we are so taken aback by the way your hotel is being allowed to suffer this with no help that we are thinking of going to Portugal (Spain, Bognor, Blackpool) instead now...
What d'you reckon? I'm up for it

Just getting here.
Get Happy ,but scary sounding and looking ,*big dogs.
Get Media attention if possible - also write opinion pieces.
POST signs that you have security cameras.
Lights - motion and noise detecting with noise if necc.
You can do alot without actual security companys.
Sometimes the number of false alarms will get you fines or worse- ignored.
Keep an old computer around just for cameras if neccessary it is not that hard to do your own system.
Once you get pictures of them in action they can be posted on your poerty and other places. Perhaps some of your services could be a reward.
Hope this sort of thing stops!
Goodluck.

I need to read the other link about this.
Wilma has a good idea.
It would be best if it were from actual guests or workers in case it becomes official record. I am sure you know many that could do it , knowing it is changing things for you and be return visitors they may be helpful.
Any others having troubles with the same kids?
Excuse question if it is included on the unread link

If you have any idea of who these morons are Rich, can you not take some photos and hand them round to the local shops, pubs etc to put in windows/bars. That would save you having to risk fly-posting them around town.

Rich, no wonder you're frustrated. Anyone would be tempted to issue a few *cough* - polite warnings, in your position.
Can I just say something about Wilma's idea though - if you are going to send a letter, I'd be very wary of naming Rich's place specifically. That can be like a red rag to a bull for idiots like this.

KB,
I an with Wilma, but you also. Naming a hotel would definitely be red rag to a bull ( I won't add the other bit!!) suffice it to say it ends in *er*.
A letter stating that we are disgusted that Torquay police are so slack in their policing or vandalism and hooliganism, giving tourists no confidence to visit, should be enough.
I haven't heard from Rich. I do hope you are Rich. Can you just drop an
in this thread as we are getting worried about you. I have been offline for a few days, otherwise I would have contacted you.
Take care,
Websailor

Being the sort of person who doesn't like physical violence and doesn't really want to have to use it, it really p****s me off when people who don't really get life decide that they can do anything they want because nobody can 'do anything about it'. These people aren't 'socially challenged' - I find social situations pretty difficult but it doesn't mean I'm a vicious little **** who goes around destroying and maiming for 'fun'.
The whole thing just reminds me of the ****s who kicked in my girlfriend's mother's garden fence (all 2 metres of the street side) - twice - and it's not as if they can just afford to replace it every time some idiot gets bored.
