Arthur Philip Deodat: Unfortunate Cricket Fan, deceased.
Hello.
As you may have noticed, I am named after the unfortunate Arthur Philip Deodat, unlucky enough to be insulted by Wowbagger the Infinitely Prolonged in his final moments, bleeding to death at Lord's cricket ground in the aftermath of the Krikkit Robots' attack and theft of the Ashes, one day before the demolishing of Earth, in the third book in the infamous Trilogy of Four: Life, the Universe and Everything.
Wow. Now THAT's a sentence. It makes up the whole of the above paragraph and consists of 5 commas, 2 apostrophes, a colon, a full stop and 70 words, which consist of 335 letters. That's an average of 4.785714285714286 letters per word. Pretty amazing.
I bet you can't say that sentence all in one breath. My brother can - he just tried. I am surprised. To get him back for it I am going to wind him. When he's least expecting it. That's how it is with brothers.
My favourite H2G2 character is Marvin the Paranoid Android, because I'm often like him and I can imitate his voice well (well, the voice from the original radio show).
