Is that beer as in real ale or beer as some stella fans would call it?

as i am, getting older my taste is now turning to ale
wed. was out and had a nice pint
dark island, orkney ale, 4.6%, similar colour to guinness, good taste
will drink anything
even mcewans red if there is nothing else

I prefer a hob goblin myself and that is a for all those not familiar 
or a Theakstons Old Peculier.
Its getting more difficult to find a pub that serves the good stuff.Its all lager now.

weatherspoons have a good selection
they are also having a real ale 'festival' from oct 28th
