TRANSLATION: great idea EINMOTO! smiley - cheers

i want to link to your desert island entry A25114088 in my Writers Library A24846834 in the Private Collections Room A24847031 but you need to put the findings in your "5 Books that you would take with you on a desert island" F16034?thread=4411132 thread into it...

It is possible that it would be better placed in the Writers Lounge A25035879 under a new subheading in there (yet to be created) called "Easy Reading" or somesuch.

This is a very wonderful idea and belongs in the library!! Please get it ready as soon as possible. You can even add to the list in your Desert Island Books entry after i have put a link to it and it will be fine... dynamic as a matter of fact! Don't forget to link each researcher's name to their private space when you do it. smiley - smiley

The Librarian ...ook!

ook! i figured all they had to say about their books would take up so much room so i figured out how to just list their names and link them to the actual posting. this is what i came up with and how i did it.... the final code is down at the bottom inside the two double lines ...highlight it and paste it to your desert island books entry.... make sure to CHANGE STYLE, down under the preview and update buttons, to GuideML. preview it first to see if all is good. The Writers Library A24846834 has links for GuideML coding as well as other stuff you might need to use to write this. 1. first of all, i pasted the 'good' postings.... then i did a little math to get the thread urls... Psycorp's posting is #24 so i added &skip=23&show=1 ...skipping 23 postings and showing the next one... Yours was harder.. as you can see we skip zero postings as yours is the first one. 2. then i put the thread url and name of researcher in the LINK code. 3. Then because GuideML doesnt accept ampersands &s i had to paste amp; after each ampersand in the url, which i did after i got the LINK code made and put into my entry code list there down at the bottom between the double lines. . . . ... . . . . . . . ... . . . ... ... . . . . . . . .all of this here i did so i could 'see' easier what i was doing... i was just guessing! ook!
