Oh no, none of that menial stuff for me. Most of the barracks had the 1930's vintage door-push plates and kick-stops and push-bars. All of high-end brass. That brown and green in hours, and always need volunteers to polish them.

I am a MASTER of Brasso !!!

I often wonder why boots get their own summer camp. Nobody does that for sneakers. smiley - sadface

Hi Rev

Boots are always so uptight, trying to stay shiney and stuff. Sneakers are pretty laid-back, and really don't need a break so often. smiley - biggrin

I suppose that would make them very nearly silent, and hence the ability to 'sneak' around. smiley - winkeye

The fabric at the back of the heels wears away, and the leather over my big toes splits.
