speaking of boring and dull we are sat here on the balconey trying to figure out what it is we want to do and both of us came to the conclusion that actually we didn't want to go anywherre we just wanted to stay at home and potter so pottering it is after we have finshed our coffee and our ramblingdiscussion. I cant walk to far at present so we are just goign to continue on with teh new chicken coop and then we are goign to plant some new seedlings and maybe late this arvo we will end up sharing a glass of red and a good movie
i am not sure if this means we are set in our ways or just comfortable with who we are and in each others company without having to race off and prove we still have it in us to be spontaeneous by doing stuff

Not at all boring or dull. Some days, we find that just working together on something simple, ... painting a room, or planting some new flowers, ... to be just perfectly idyllic. People that are good together do not need to be actually DOING anything for a time to be warm and special.
Have a lovely day, m'dear Lady.

That sounds absolutely splendid, Lady H. The whole day of simple stuff, and a quiet night. For us, it's to be a bleak and damp day. And the first week-end that we have no pressing needs to meet. Later, we will enjoy the dinner, awards and dance for my Lady's dart league. But elsewise ... lazy and calm.
Enjoy, and I'll peek about later for you. But beware ... that telephone dialling finger is itchy, and many friends are in London for a gathering.

We really have to change your perception of misty weather
The other day I took a long drive with a friend up to my favourite place in the world Araluen (it means place of singing waters) The sky was as black as anything and it was raining buckets we sat outside on a timber decking with the timber awning over us there was no wind just the constant falling rain the river was gurgling near by the birds were darting from branch to branch and the air smelt of damp earth it was magnificent we had a wonderful lunch and I enjoyed it all the more becuase it served no purpose other than it bought me joy
Today I think its either school work or the chickens
So the london mob are all meeting up wonder what that is like to actually meet someone you have only typed to before ....lots of suprises I'll bet and hopefully not too many dissappointments....I don't know if I would want to meet people or not some of the attraction of hootoo for me is the mystery factor

Of the folks getting together, I think there might only be 2 or 3 that I would really like to meet "in the flesh" ... They've either become such good friends, or simply very much impressed me here.
And while I don't have the same love of rain that you have, (probably because it isn't so vital to my daily life) I do enjoy sitting under a canvas or over-hang sometimes. Just watching, listening, smelling ... a warm summer rain.

Well good moring to you I have had a very interesting morning on hootoo I blundered into some places I wasn't suppose to be...found the misc chat button and started a story with Rafe finally a sane voice on teh other side of the world....
Tom is going to call me any minute though to nail wood can I hide under you kitchen table and yes I am in a very silly frame of mind today...
Could be something to do with teh fact Tom bought in all our records from the shed over 400 of them and Beth is exploring the antique world of music .....so far I have heard Glen campbell (not mine) the carpenters (also not mine) and now we are on to Debbie boone (okay that one is mine but I was in my teens when I bought it)

You know, I really could have gone all week without having heard mention of the Bay City Rollers. Every so often, the radio station that I listen to plays "Saturday Night" ... And I remember a time ...
When I first left my parents home, I met a young lady. She loved those guys, and so of course I feigned a like as well. Which meant that I heard them at nearly every hour of the day.

Well in the mean time I have been serenaded by elvis and heard beethovens 5th I think her plan is to cover the entire history of music in one morning ahhh back to Elvis would be funny if this was generation number three to be an Elvis fan I use to have his pictures posted over evry inch of my bedroom and I cried my eyes out teh day he died
aaaaaaaaaaaaghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh scratch one needle and record
it has suddenly gone very dark here I may not need to shelter under your kitchen table after all the clouds have come over and it is looking very much like more rain Yipppeee ohoh Elvis is gone to be replaced by sting....my ears are starting to get dizzy

Geez, that variety of music ... all in one go. That's enough to make anyone's head spin.
I vaguely heard some mention of Elvis' passing at the time. I was en-route from recruit training to the base where I would begin to learn of electronics. It only became apparent when I phoned my parents, to let them know which province I was in. My kid sister was wailing in the back-ground about him.
And sorry, no room under the table. It's frequently occupied by one or more cats. But we do have a guest room, with very effective drapery.

It's actually quite late here, and it's been a long day. So in fact, I'll wish you a lovely day of enjoying some rain. Perhaps far, far away from the random music generator.

Well, that's what ya get for living on the bottom of the world. It may be cool to get everywhere a full day ahead of us, but there ARE draw-backs.
Nighty-night, my friend.

It sounds like a full enough day already, and making me tired.
Actually, for no good reason, I seem to only have managed about 10 hours of quality sleep this week-end. So I may soon just stretch on the sofa, and let nature take it's course.

Okay, Lady, I have made room under our dining room table ... With a duvet and a pillow. Just in case you need a hidey-place.
