I have never really become used to it. I've lived in a lot of different parts of the country, each having different degrees of severity of winter. Actually, where I am now is about the mildest of them all.

We're too close to the coast for decent snow, most of ours is wind and rain

That seems to be the case for British Columbia as well. The very rarest times they get snow, it's a disaster. Most people don't even own a shovel, and news broadcasts have shown some clearing sidewalks with a wok. Our eastern provinces, on the other hand, get far more snow than we do. Where my little extended tribe is, they get mounds of the stuff at a time.

Scotland gets most of the snow that comes our way

Lucky them, eh?

That's ok, I had the discs lying about, I wish I could publish my stories here, that would make people faint with shock

I listened to the first disc yesterday, while attending to domestic chores. (Some husbands admit to doing them, you know ) Some tunes were nice, some were just too much for my taste. Thank you for saving me some money ...
