I think I've heard some of his stuff, the name's familiar

Apparently the UK variant of folk-music. Much different from what we call that name. Some stuff is really quite nice, to my ear.

Oh, and according to some female folks, he's considered quite -worthy.

Yeah, folk music has a BIIIIIIIIG range here

This country was settled by so many 'groups' and nationalities. And a lot of regions still reflect that. So folk music in Newfoundland may be a blend of Irish and Scotish, but parts of Manitoba will be more from the Ukraine, and the area that I grew in will be very Germanic.

I see, folk music here can be either traditional stuff like Scarboro' Fair or Modern stuff like Shipbuilding

It's all pretty 'relative' to the zone and even time-period, eh?

I've been quite busy this week-end, but tonight I will try to make that data-DVD, with pics and the tracks on our MP3 player. One group, "The Great Big Sea" are a handful of lads that do a lot of our Maritime folks music. As well as many new things of their own.

I think that is all a myth. In oour 2 weeks there, there were two nights of very light showers, and nought else. Hah!

You came in the 'Lull between storms' last year was exceptionally wet tho as has been this past couple of weeks

We figured it was because of the purse milady carried for the whole time. It included a matching umbrella.

It doesn't seem to work against our snow though. Or any of the 6 inches of stuff we got today.

Oh dear, I take it it's not good news

Just a lot of labour after the work-day was done. It's not so bad, getting a load of snow on a week-end, but facing it after 10 hour days ...

Oh, that is not good

It's certainly not fun, but it IS life in Canada often enough.
