Records? I'm still wow'd by my 8-track tape player. A Christmas prezzie, along with my other plaid shirt ... the spikey boots for riding the timber down the river ... the total lack of singing talent ...

There's a little something else I can thank this site for ... I always despised smiley - tea, until Venus sent me some from your side of the pond. I quite like the PG-Tips, and have a cup each morning at work.

Sending her some of ours, she was polite and suggested that perhaps we just get the floor-sweepings ... Even of Tetley. smiley - laugh

I kinda messed up today ... I took out some very nice Atlantic salmon fillets to bake for supper. With mashed spuds, peas, always a good idea. How-ever, I also made one helluva brunch of sausages, canadian bacon, peameal bacon and french toast.

We're still full enough from brunch, that the salmon will have to await another day. smiley - laugh

We had our Christmas dinner this evening, Pork, Beef, spuds sprouts parsnips and trifle to finish, hardly festive but we enjoyed it

There are a very few green veggies that produce enough acid to really offend some minor ulcers I've had since my earliest teens. Sprouts are one of them. But the rest, mashed and smashed and fried over ... sounds good to me. smiley - biggrin

I don't like sprouts. They have to be cooked the British way, if you can count them they're not cooked properly smiley - laugh
