How did the gloves I made you work out?

The gloves got good 'exercising' last winter, anytime I was out and not work-related. They's very cozy.

Of course, they're all the wrong colour for Venus, so I know she won't sneak them away on me.

I'm guessing they're not pink then?

Not unless they've changed, in a closet, over the spring and summer.

I had to get my hat gloves and scarf out of the loft this week

Oh, we're still atleast weeks (if not months) away from that yet.

It's just getting a little now

Nights are beginning to cool now ... Down to about 12C. I actually switched the system over from A/C to heating.

My bedroom heater's been on for about a week now

Ours is an oil-fired furnace, that feeds the entire house. And yep, it has been brought into play a couple of times this week.

Oooh I bet that's lovely and warm

It does keep the place nice and cozy. And on the windier days, ... well, there is that wood-burning fireplace that is seen in my piccy place.

Just another lovely bonus that this house held when we bought it.

we have fireplaces but they are borded up

That seems such a waste. But then, I suppose it might be prohibitively expensive to bring in a good load of firewood for you folks as well. It's still relatively cheap here.
