2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Posted Oct 9, 2016
Ahh, meeting odd people of the interwebs is always fun.... Went to a pub last night, to meet a hole bunch of people.... no idea what they look like, and visa versa... one had posted he was at the pub wearing a leather jacket... hardly overly unique I guessed... so I just said W and I were there soon, and I was the one in the leopard print oddly we were spotted before we got to the bar to order a beer I was very leopard-print-y last night though... well, everythign cept for the brown leather jacekt handbag and shoes, which did at least compliment the leopard print

This is probably a prejudiced opinion but that story would seem typical of Northern Ireland. Everyone I've ever met from there either knows or is related to or went to school with someone else I've ever met from there.
They're all lovely people, I hasten to add.
Especially one of our Irish reps who I had dinner with the other night. He really was lovely.

There are parts of the Middle East and the American Appalachians where that's true as well.

Well I do have a sizeable number of cousins, I don't even know how many. But since I've managed to reach this age without shagging any of them I may as well continue!

I have 5 on my mother's side, but that's the easy bit. It's my father's side of the family where I lose count.

blimey... I'm not sure I've the slightest idea how many cousins I have... I can't recall having met/seen any of them in decades I guess we're just not a very close family Mind, there's one of them I'd not refuse if she...

I had 22 cousins, but most were quite a bit older than I. At least a third of them are gone now.

Cut it out, you! Filthmonger!
Of course, cousin-marrying used to be perfectly normal until maybe the late 19th Century, from what I've read in social history books and Thomas Hardy novels...
But still, I think I'll leave it to 2legs!

(I'll have to sit down and count mine sometime, out of interest.)

Sorry, I think of 2Legs as too unique to have cousins......

Well I think they're cousins.... I can vaguely remember them... from a long long time back actually.... err... no, I think that was a real bit of my life not just a halucination, but its often so difficult to be sure anymore, the most hallucinary seeming bits often end up to be real according to what other people tell me... I think I know I can remember uncle Doris... but I'm not sure what happened to her... She kept ducks I seem to recall....

Everyone is extraordinary in some way, or another, everyone is so unique.... so unique in fact, and so different, that same, or sameness, is probably more unique than differnce I know I've one cousin who moved to Brighton and married a female, and another who works in forensics the last I heard, but beyond that... I've not much a clue Its a little embarasing when Drs ask me about family medical history stuff, like what I might have potentially from genetic stuff, and I just in the main don't have a clue
