There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho

Hmm, it didn't stretch my page and give me a scroll bar at the bottom - the url was split into two chunks with the break at &url=http%3A%2F <> %2Fwww.youtube.com

It wasn't the worst page stretch I've seen (or that I've inadvertently created) but for me it didn't wrap until the dash near the end..

Speaking of Autumn, and the end of Summer... here's a poem. See if anyone can guess who wrote it. I'll give you a hint, it was translated from the German by Babelfish.

Owing to to the Summer

Oh summer, it was beautifully with you,
much Freud and fun owes I to you.
The long days, short nights,
as if the luck with you would spend.
Now you must gehn, who autumn he approaches,
the forest in multicolored colors radiate.
Then it becomes grey and wet and coldly,
the earth rests, as more waer it old.
But one tune me correctly gladly,
because you come back - anyway.

The first thought that comes to mind is Adolf.

I just tried to find the original German text, but it's gone... forever... Apparently destroyed by a disk crash in 2004. smiley - sadface

Ah... you may be thinking of another disk crash. It didn't occur here. It was on a site called "Half Bakery".

That was where I found the poem above many years ago.

Or then again, maybe you found it before I did and did know about the disk crash. You're the high priest(ess). smiley - grovel

I did another search just now and apparently nighthoover now has a gambling problem. smiley - cool

I think I definitely did jump the gun a bit when I declared Autumn. That was an insanely warm and sunny day for the end of September.

So I took a nice long lunch and went down to sit by the river and mellow out. Lovely. smiley - zen When you do that, though, it's incredibly hard to frogmarch your ass back to work. smiley - laugh

I keep taking every oppertunity with this loverly warm sun I can; useually this entails popping onto the balcony, and having a cigarette, whilst sitting in the sun smiley - magic some rain here.... earlier... but the suns out again now, so off soon, for a walk by the river smiley - zensmiley - magic
