That I've sold a painting. 
It came as a bit of a surprise to get the offer, as I hadn't even mentioned or thought of selling anything.

Ta. I've worked out that I only need to sell about 65 more to take next year off work at this rate. 
It doesn't reallllly count, though, because I've a feeling the guy only bought it because he wanted to be all artsy. (He also insisted that he wanted to know the title. Your guess about that's as good as mine - it's an abstract piece with a lot of reds, orange, yellow and looks *vaguely* like a sunset/rise. So I told him it was called "Heartache over Baltimore" and he seemed happy enough.

Don't be so hasty Bea! I think the only thing you've seen of mine is Guide Entry illustrations!
I'm thinking it might be nice to work on something a bit more *yours* for the Beahive. Something subtly personalised and LH-ified. I think I'd enjoy having a crack at it! But don't be talking about taking it until you know whether you like it.
