Sho - employed again! Posted Jul 6, 2010
It's kind of medieval fantasy or something similar - she also does graphic novels but nothing published yet, I have high hopes of one of them though.
As I said - I'm already pretty tied up - bit if anyone is available for a couple of hours, what I'd really like to do is Gnomon's statue trail thing. And talk books...

Malabarista - now with added pony Posted Jul 21, 2010
I've just been offered another tour from Belfast Port on the 1st of August, so if you're still up for a mini-meet, I can come up a day early...

More Belgians? Hope you get better weather this time! And there's a sofa with your name on it if you need.
Yes count me in.

My Dublin trip is off because the book launch has been brought forward to 11th September. No way I can make that (combination of timing and my New Car Saga which takes precedence)
but I will come over sometime - definitely

As quickly as it took shape, it's dissipating.
We've lost Sho first, then Trig - do we abort mission?

TRiG (Ireland) A dog, so bade in office Posted Jul 22, 2010
Ach, ye've not lost me entirely. I'll miss Pride, unfortunately, but I can nip up to Belfast some other time. And I'll be able to spend more time with ye if I'm coming just for you lot.
TRiG.

Ach stop it. Us dour northerners don't do warm fuzziness like that!
You had a narrow escape, though. It seems I've been drafted as a box-lugger for Bea, now.

Ok. This seems as good a place as any to catch you both at the same time.
Mal, do you want to meet in town and do something before going to Bea's new place, or go straight there with her? I can do either. I'd just like to work it out this evening so half the day isn't wasted on a confusing cross-stream of texts/emails.

Suggestion:
Mala leaves the car at my current flat, where she'll be staying.
Takes train into town, meets Bomba.
The 2 of you come out to my new place by train/ bus when suits.
We come up with ideas for interior design, garden layout, and discuss dinner possibilities.
And take it from there.

you can never be too rich too thin or have too many books...

Oh, I think you can be too rich, definitely.
Like, if you can afford to buy vast swathes of land and do absolutely nothing with it (except keep other people from having it), a la Tesco, you're definitely too rich. I could have my sooper dooper propagation facility on some of that land!
Too thin...hmm. Ever read Stephen King's novel, "Thinner"?
Key: Complain about this post
