I know I'm not old by any measure. But having lads work with me, that weren't even born when I first donned our country's uniform, ... it occassionally gives me a bit of pause.

As the generations progress, the gene-pool is thinning. My brother born in '55 achieved about 6' 3". Myself in '59, ... 5' 9", and then milady in '61 is only 5' 4". You being of a later model still, are apparently built even closer to the ground. And NOW, just look at how short the peoples born in the last couple of years are !!!

As are my grandsons, born in '02 and '04. So the theory stands sound !!!

Well, discounting such anomalies as biker-lads that may be from the mid-70s and are slender, 6-foot'ish ... There'll be an exception to every rule, eh?

In fact, I just might. Someone who's popped in a coupla times lately ...

So, how'd the bulk of the day go for you? I mounted the boxes for electrical service in our new room, and routed the wiring. I'll hook it into the distribution panel tomorrow with a fresher mind. Oh, and of course, Saturday is our primary laundry and house-cleaning day, ... both working full-time through the week.

I think he's been popping in because a certain love interest has been on and off too

How-ever, in what way? I've known the lad over a year and always enjoyed his company. The humour, the serious and real-world side, a pretty sharp mind. And probably one of the best people to have as a friend, to lean on, if you ever need.

Rather handsome as well, from the single, several-year-old piccy that I've seen.

Ah, THAT way ... He says that he sounds "girlie"? I'd say more like a deeper voiced, mature woman.

Cal did say that if he was a girl and sounded like Jack he'd be worried any hoo time for sunday dinner so I'll catch you later

For us, Sunday dinner will be about 3 pounds of pork, roasted up, mashed spuds, gravy from the juices the roast makes, and perhaps carrots. *ing already ...*

yes of course although you should eat your greens they are good for you
