What do you say to forming an Imperial Guard unit? We could do a squad of hardened veterans or similar. All we need is some standardisation (we already have this with E-3-2) of kit and some basic armour. If you think this would be good, and would be interested in going to a WH40K Live Role Play next time one is within easy reach, just say, and I will start thinking about armour, etc.

I have found some evidence that Glock 18Cs and similar have a RIS as standard (front of lower barrel). I shall find out when I get one.

Oh, and my 'final' list isn't final. I have already changed it five times or so, so who knows what I'll eventually end up with.

How do I find out what thread it has?

And I don't see the need to create a Guard unit. COuldn't we stick with the old idea?

When you buy it, it sould say in the manual and/or specs.

And if we have a guard unit it means we can go to Grim Darkness events and shoot Eldar/Tau/Orks/Cultists.

Does it need to be guard? They're so bad!

Hardened Veterans? Storm Troopers? And almost everyone is guard, so it makes almost no difference. Although, we could be Chaos Cultists (Slaanesh, this would account for all the bright green).

Acctually if it was Slaanesh it would be bright pink.

And hardened veterans and stormtroopers don't stand against bolters. And you know it!

Slaaneshi cultists wear either lots of clothes in bright pink/green/red/etc. OR wear nothing at all.

Before 27th:

At some point we must meet (preferably only a couple of days before) and organise the following:

-patrol order + personal 'callsigns'
-hand signals (teach K standard and formulate a new method of giving orders silently)
-kit (allocate, fit, check)
-fieldcraft lesson for K (basic, 1 star, 2 star on APC syllabus)
-anything else that comes to mind
