I think that you should come round to my place Friday afternoon so you can pick out kit for Saturday.

Come to think of it, why don't we get a few people together and do something on Friday anyway? Not a Xbox system link, I still need to find out exactly how it works and I can't be bothered to make the room for that. Maybe a game of something? WH40K (not Apocalypse due to time issues), Epic 40K (might be hard, I am lacking in legal formations), Armoured Supremacy, Aeronautica Imperialis, Battlefleet Gothic, Halo Action Clix? Whatever it is we would have to make it quick to set up and pack away. We could, of course, just get a few people together. If we did that, some people could amuse themselves with a Xstation/Playbox while I taught you and anyone who wanted to learn how to play Epic. Obviously not a full-scale game, just infantry and a few tanks.

This site has many other different 2 tones, including an MP5 and some shotguns. I like shotguns. I think I know where that birthday money is going...

Not to birst your bubble or anything but doesn't that FPS look a bit over 328 (or whatever Xsite allows).

That's why I will check Xsites limit before I buy anything, and I don't know that Xsite and Actionhobbies are both using the same weight of BB.

Also, Xsite limits on FPS (measured with 0.2g BB):

AEG = 328 with 5% variation

Sniper = 450 witn 0% variation and 15m minimum engagement distance.

Doesen't that make your gun you were looking at a bit powerful?

I have selected 3 weapons that I want. I can buy all 3 of them + extra mags + conversion parts + ammo for around £220. I will do this in a couple of months, just as soon as I have convinced my parents it's worth it and have raised another £70.

They are:

-Galaxy MP5 PDW
(comes with sling, hicap mag and locap mag; I will add another 2 hicap mags)

-Double Eagle M48 tactical airsoft shotgun
(comes with electric scope, laser, torch , sling, safety glasses and locap mag; I will add 1 extra locap mag)

-CYMA Glock 18C
(comes with 1 mag and speedloader; I will add a top-mounted RIS rail)

I am also adding 3500 biodegradeable BBs.



The MP5 and Glock 18C are both electric and have semi and full auto modes (fully automatic pistol! wow!). The shotgun is basically a spring sniper rifle at half the cost and disguised as a pump action shotgun with some extra goodies thrown in. A very good backup weapon by all acounts.


I'm not sure wether or not to add a pistol holster or not, but even if I don't I can keep the pistol in my right-leg map pocket, as this is not given over to any kit yet (I have my whole loadout planned).

Once you get past the lousy layout it's a good site.

I'm thinking along the lines of either:

1) Some kind of soldier (DMP, webbing, etc.)

2) SAS sort of thing (black this, that and the other)

And where can I find a torch to mount on an MP5? I've got all the other stuff on that list I composed on Thursday except that.

Also I'm going for a low mount instead of a high claw mount. Is that advaisable seeing as I am only really going to mount a scope on it?
