Greetings visitor. My name is Dave but my friends call me Milkbone. Don't ask why, the reason is nowhere near as interesting as I'm sure it could be. Just revel in the fact that "Milkbone" is a fun word to say and I happen to answer to it as well. If you are here you are either very lost and confused or interested in h2g2. I do hope it's the latter. Essentially I will be writing on all things Richmond, Virginia, USA as well as keeping a somewhat spotty journal of what I do and see around here. I'm a medical student doing research on pediatric cancers, so you can imagine some of it will be good, some sad and some just plain unintelligible as science prides itself on all the jargon you can fathom. Please feel free to email me if you ever have any questions on Richmond or are looking for resources and plain talk about cancer. Fighting that disease is something I do, and all questions are welcome. That being said, I also enjoy food and beer which are two things Richmond does exceptionally well.
