Hopefully an early enough warning to the most of you! If you are not already aware, an e-mail is doing the rounds, purportedly from an international delivery company whose name is made up of three initials.
As my Daughter always has her Christmas parcels delivered to me; and I was expecting three in the last few days, I was not surprised when I received an e-mail from the above, advising me of a failed delivery attempt; with an attachment showing details. As I am a naturally suspicious character, I deleted said missive and called the firm instead.
As with most companies now, this one had an opening recorded message:
"If you have received an e-mail about a failed delivery, do not open it! It is fraudulent and contains a trojan"
Stay safe

Apologies from Scorp.
Posted Jun 27, 2012
To any of you I may have missed, humble apologies.
Have sent e-mails to those of you I could think of, regarding the hacking of my Y*h** a/c.
Something/someone has managed to infiltrate this and is apparently churning out spam by the bucketful. (Thanks to my mate BMT for bringing this to my attention).
I HAVE NOT SENT ANY OF YOU AN E-MAIL OF ANY KIND FOR MONTHS using the Y*h** a/c!! and if you have received anything remotely offensive, I apologise.
If you haven't already had confirmation of this from me. Please note that I shall not send any e-mails; with or without attachments, unless I say so on here first.
Scorp.

Back at the library again
PC 'died' and as it near to the festive season, does not look like being fixed anytime soon.
Will try to keep up to date here for the foreseeable future.

Scorp's Nov challenge one off
Posted Nov 21, 2011
I haven't had the time or energy to compile a monthly journal; but thought I would do just the one to show willing.
Today is 20th and I have spotted two things which made me smile.
First off was the strawberries. I know, I know it's November.

The other thing is the inevitable cunning of the neighbourhood cats; who think they know all about breakfast.

Thanks to Prof
Posted Oct 31, 2011
I have to give my very best thanks to Prof!,,.
Although I have only met him twice in my 64 years, I consider him one of my TRUE friends.
Despite his current problems with Prof Jnr, he gave thought to my Birthday; and took the trouble to send me a Birthday card.
I am really grateful for both the card and the thought behind it; when he has so much else to concern him right now.
BLESS YOU PROF
