Seen it already.
Gave my Lower Sixth a "Why is the sky blue?" assignment and one of them included this poem. They weren't trying to explain it to a 4 yr old just in A level language.

Things appear different colours because they have very small differences in shape, so small our eyes cannot see them, except for the colour. grass appears green because it reflects only green light because of its 'shape'. the gases in the sky reflect mainly blue light, and so the sky seems blue. when the sun is very low, it has to shine through more dust which reflects red light, and makes the sky look red.
Hows that? not strictly true I know, but would you avoid confusing a four year old with wavelengths, scattering, etc?

Not bad, not sure about the word 'reflect'. What about where the colours come from - white light?

Have you had a cig then or just feeling very tempted? I could so easily go scrounge one off a colleague right now.. and I dont know how i'm gonna cope with going out tonight...

ive had a few more then id like thanks to my birthday so i have decided to start proper this sunday i know ive let yall down but i got a whole lotta things contributing to this weeks smoke (cans of booze, so called lesbians coming onto me who happen to be one of my bests friednds ex girlfriend and who it turns out i really like, polyfillered faces at birthday parties and the such 
) petty no? but with your blessings i would like to start this no smoking at a less stressfull week i.e as of sunday coming up
i really feel ive let you all down
