Ok...I must admit, reading about your curry-cooking method got my stomach nudging me so I've now got some black-eyed peas boiling on the stove for a late lunch (as it's now approaching 2pm/14:00 hours here.) It's a happy coincidence that I spotted your posting on curries & soups. It's recommended that you put an introductory note of some sort on your page or Personal Space (y'know, give it some 'personality'.) There's also the 'GuideML clinic'@ A187229 , which I've been told might look a bit intimidating but isn't that difficult if you've done any HTML.

Like any sizeable community h2g2 or hootoo as it's also known, has its own newspaper <./>thepost</.> which comes out every Thursday. Usually some interesting reading & it might give you some idea of the various folks/goings-on here. And like most large communities it also has numerous Clubs & Societies.
