Ah, that makes sense!
When I took baccalauréat (equivalent of Alevels), we weren't allowed calculators. Even for the math test (but the exercises didn't require big complicated calculations).

Im going to have to track down my pencil case.
Also i've been told i'm not allowed my current calculator because it can do integration for me
Now i must go do some more literature
And Menthol - you expected your journal to stay on topic? Its rare enough for people to post at all on mine

I end up loosing track of journals and stuff. I was looking through my conversations the other day and found a load of older convos with unread posts. Why doesn't hootoo push those to the top?

once upon a time they were at the top...
When I did my Maths A-level we were allowed basic calculators, but generally it was pencil, paper and log-tables. (are log-tables made from trees with square roots?)

Right I've got my hair cut and then decided I might as well try and spike it up/style it so went and bought various hair stuff.
One was advertised as "holds like glue", I've not been able to put it down!

What exactly does sloaganeering mean?
I'm sure h2g2 would be a good place to find some sloagans, but somehow i suspect that isnt what we're being told not to do

it means taking the soundbite phrase (or slogan) of a particular political party (in this instance) and turning it into a piece of jewelry.
The process is known as sloganeeringisation and those who do it are sloganeeringisationists.

Since I had my haircut i decided that I was going to spike it up and after several times of messing around and getting it wrong I've finally settled on on a mohican type style. Most of my friends liked it which was good. Debating whether to put pics up or not.

You got a fauxhawk?
The mohican is the shorter style than the mohawk, shaved sides and a number 1 or 2 for the top strip. Kinda looks like you've given your head a brazilian wax
