I didnt read all of them, but quite a few I guess - I just read everything I could get my hands on, and my mum has a habit of needing to buy more large bookshelves every year - moving out was hard...but lots of books my parents _had_ more than one of, and those charity shops rock
Stark - Ben Elton

The Water Babies -> Rev Charles Kinglsley.
What on earth is a book ultra?
A for books? Damn that would be useful - I hate dropping books in the bath, I really do. Thumb thing also sounds groovy - can you get Electronic Thumbs there too?
?

The Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy - Douglas Adams.
I would say sorry, but I am not, I cant do it anymore, it was bad enough posting Dirk..., but this is even more obvious - I just cant leave DNA out of my side of this thread anylonger. Obvious obvious obvious obvious - I am sure most of the people here could link back to THHGTTG from any other book anyone cared to mention, but for what its worth:
The Highway Code -> The green cross code -> the weird green geezer on those public service advert thingies who made the kids STOP, LOOK, and LISTEN -> slightly scary green things -> really horrible and scary green things -> and the bug eyed monsters? They're green yes.
I shall try and make the effort to post authors a little bit further a field from now on, honest

No worries - it gives me a great link into a Comic Strip though....
Get Fuzzy - Darby Conley
In June 19 Strip (just read off the Web, from the Comics web site, which is basically the three ws followed by comics, followed by the standard american ending for a COMpany) The Main Human Character is wearing a T-shirt with
