Hello,Stellar, you replied to me last Thursday, but then I was off to work,
until lunchtime today.
I'm supposed to be retired, but work is addictive (its also lucrative!),so I keep
at it. I drive a truck for an agency at Sainsbury's at Crick,nr Rugby.
At 72 I'm earning more now than ever, why do the good things come almost
too late?
Do I call you Stellar,or what?
Have a good day,Regards, Don smiley - smiley

Hi Don

Yeah, stellar's fine.

I'm (recently) retired too. Early I suppose, at 61, but I got a good deal from the foreign firm I worked for.

I agree, if you enjoy carrying on, and getting a good return on it, why not? It's nice to have choices.
By the way, my stepdad was a long distance lorry driver. Used to take me with him during the school summer holidays. He taught me to roll cigarettes so I could keep him supplied during the journey! He loved driving, as I assume you do too.

Bye for now. Regards, stellarsmiley - smiley

Just saw the second message: I was an Archivist for the last 20 years. Now I'm undergoing a period of reflection as far the future goes. I don't need to work, but on the other hand I don't want to do nothing at all.

I don't gamble or drink or watch TV much, so I've got no vices (apart from bacon sandwiches) to distract me once I do decide what comes next.

Regards, stellar smiley - ok
