Rain
Posted Sep 5, 2002
I demand that it stops raining within two hours, and doesn't start again until I am home from work!
From my desk I have a view of the grey sky and sea. Rain is hammering against the big floor to ceiling windows and they waves out on the inner Oslo fjord are tipped with white. It absolutely has to stop before I get on my bike to ride home, even if it's only a 25 minute ride.

Counting days
Posted Sep 4, 2002
My upcoming entry on Norway is now the 54th entry from the top of the list of entries returned from sub-editor on the ComingUp page. If my calculations are correct, that should mean it will be on the front page 15 week days from now, on the 25th. That's like, in forever, and I guess the system isn't that orderly either.

75717 = 42?
Posted Sep 1, 2002
After reading about looking for 42 in your researcher number earlier today I have been trying to find it. It took me a while, because it was much simpler than I though, but after letting my subconsious have a go I discovered that:
-7+57-1-7=42

My entry on Norway
Posted Aug 25, 2002
Looks like my entry on Norway is scaring off sub-editors as fast as they can be assigned to it. Currently the version under editing exists as A803422. I've decided not to pester the editors until they've actually done anything with the entry, but if it changes sub-editor again I'll just have to ask what's going on.

It's a beautiful day

Just a short entry since I'm at w*rk. I'm sitting here in our new headquarters enjoying a great view of the Oslo fjord and the main shipping channel out of Oslo. One of the ferries from Denmark returned half an hour ago, I've seen one of the local ferries and a navy vessel. The sky is clear and blue, the sun is shining bright, and the move from private offices to an open solution hasn't hurt yet. Everything is fairly nice so far.
Well, gotta go back to w*rk.
