Accident

Had a little accident on my way to work today. The chain on my bike somehow locked so the pedals stopped. I manged to slip both feet off the pedals at the same time and met the asphalt chin first. Had several stitches put in to try and stretch the loose flap of skin to cover the cut. The cut was very small, but with some of the skin torn away it needed stitches not to scar too much.

Skeptics

I will have to make a skeptics' page here. A865406 about pendulums grates on my nerves, and I've been unable to explain my point of view to the author. Some more people have entered the debate now, so despite my urge to post at once I'm going to wait and let the author have a chance to respond to the other posters first.
But a priority to for h2g2-work is a Skeptics page.

Thanks to HELL I am now using the incredibly usefull POPUPCONVERSATIONS-gadget to keep track of my conversations. I'd thank the creators of the gadget as well, but I haven't been able to find any information about it anywhere...

The weather outside is frightfull

Building control web-page says it's 4 degrees C outside. It's dark. It's windy. It looks like it's raining. And I need to get on my bike and ride home from work. Whaaaaaa!
Not that it's a long ride, just 20 minutes... well, 20 minutes when you don't have to fight the wind. I could of course stay at work and hope the wind stops blowing, but I don't think it will, and I can't think of anything useful I could be doing that I want to do right now. I can't very well play around on h2g2 while waiting for the weather to stop... or, I could, but my conscience wouldn't allow me to demand pay for it. 
Bah, I might as well get going.

Trolls on the front page

Whee, my entry on Trolls finally reached the front page, I'm so happy.
But now I need to get started on something new, or my other pending entry will come and go on the front page while I have nothing else on the path to glory.
A small dab of inspiration is all it will take for me to get going on what I'm almost certain will be my next entry, Brown Cheese.
