Not even near. Where I went there was a sea, and yet it was 3 miles from the beach. And no fishing or you lose your shoes with the wading.

Many shores, many seas, many sucky seasides. The sucking done by the sand, not the town, most are quite nice. I havent been to Morcombe, keep meaning to get round to it. Sigh.
