I had a friend who was a tortoise as well, it was a bit of a slow start between us but we soon hared along.

I had a friend that was a tortoise, got a job with the BBC working on Blue Peter, trouble was they kept painting his name on his shell and sticking him in a cardboard box for half the year and only got paid appearance fees if he popped his head out in the spring, which he didn't like doing because they stuffed cotton wool buds in his eyes, anyway one year he decided to escape and he dug a tunnel in the Blue Peter garden that's when he discovered somes bones and a dog collar with the name Petra on it, also 6 foot of concrete so he went back to have his eyes swabbed.
