Oh, I see you're correcting me - haven't you ever fallen asleep listening to Schnittzel? I've fallen asleep at the opera in the past - Wagner, up in the gods where it was about 100 degrees...zzz...even a friend who was completely crazy about Wagner fell asleep, much to his embarrassment! I've fallen asleep watching Arabella but that was in a dress rehearsal in the circle - didn't need heat and darkness - the Strauss was quite enough.
goodnight (2nd attempt)

>>As I did with the dung mal...<<
that's not a recipe which I'll be trying in a hurry!!
had a second portion of my delicious red lentil/mung dal/veg curry when I got in tonight - one more to go still waiting in the fridge. shame I haven't got any yoghurt though. and I'm almost out of hot mango pickle - a trip to Mr Sainsbury's is obviously called for (but just don't get out the shopping list with organic butter and tomato ketchup on it!!)

I wouldn't dare to do any such thing - just hinting
I've fallen asleep listening to every composer that's ever existed - not just Feldcat. If I don't have a snooze b4 a concert -->

What??? You still haven't been shopping? Our fridge is full to bursting with what we just refer to as "Rachels'" - the organic yog from a farm near Aberystwyth. Plenty here if you want some but it might be quicker to nip to your nearest Sains. I have a thing about yoghurt - i quite like it but mustn't taste the milk or I can't eat it! So Tzatziki i love and actually I had some with my curry this evening but i can't bring myself to eat natural yog. Maybe one day I'll be able to as it's v good for you. L loves it but won't eat fruit yog. D and R prefer it fruity.
Goodnight (£rd attempt) must learn no shift for numbers...
MJ feeling rather wide awake now!

No, there was no 9-15 rendezvous with a nice short lady this week, so haven't been to Sainsbury's. Also have not been to bank so running out of money, haven't been into Birmingham to get the new scanner which my mother is buying me for my birthday, haven't been over the allotment to plant out etc - but have contacted windows man so he's coming on Monday to measure me up (or rather the house).

Tzatziki
what's that?
only have natural yog to go with curries and other spicy dishes - never fruity ones and I very rarely have pudding or sweet
did you see in waffle discussion about dinner/tea/supper etc? - N vs S

Tut tut now that was all a bit too negative - don't start sounding like me! I thought that you'd have rushed out for the yoghurt since you sounded as though it was fairly essential food last time you mentioned it. We're licky having lots of shops nearby. Mind you you don't live out in the middle of nowhere do you?
Goodnight ($th attempt)
MJ you can cheer up now i've just seen the time!!! Happy Unbirthday to you.

first lot of cricket pix finished d/ling
are you sure you don't want any of them? you can even see my folding chair in some shots together with a Sainsbury's bag-for-life sitting next to it - what could be more tempting? I'm not sitting in the chair of course since i'm on the opposite side of the ground!!

Think I've spelled it wrong so are you joking, asking what it is? Assuming you're not, it's a Greek dippy thing - Natural yoghurt with little pieces of cucumber - i love it. But can't understand why. I think there's somethng in milk which repells me but once it's disguised it's OK. Love cheese but not the blue smelly stuff.
yup saw the N/S meals thing. I grew up in the Sarf - Wimbledon - and had lunch at noon if bread etc but if cooked it was dinner. Had a cooked meal at 6 we called tea. Or supper. But I'm sure it was at teatime. Dinner was never in the evening - but then we were an unconventional family so I didn't join the discussion on Waffle.
Must try again
Goodnight (^th attempt)

no wasn't joking about whatever it was that you spelt incorrectly - never heard of it.
Goodnight Jane, you've missed out the %th attempt
thanks for cheering me up

I only want to see dramatic shots - I'm sleepy enough already. Now if you'd taken the pix from the other side of the ground and you WERE sitting in that chair now that i wouldn't mind seeeing. you could have set up a tripod, got the camera ready with time delay and legged it acropss the pitch, crashing into cricketers in your path in your haste, back to your chair. That photo i would like to see.

R's been in pain all day - paracetamol didn't seem to help.Quite tearful at times. Finger still v swollen and discoloured. Kittens were a good distraction...
Goodnight, sleep tight.

That photo I'd like to take!!
Nothing dramatic I'm afraid - I've got shots of 2 of the Harborne batsmen getting out but you can't tell from the photos
getting a good cricket picture is well-nigh impossible unless you sit shooting everything that happens with a rapid-sequence drive on your camera - but then you never see the game. I have to strike a balance.

Morning(ish) Andy!
You still asleep? Nice day for planting out - not too hot here. Maybe that's where you are.
Still only 3 cats but I'm crumbling...

Morning Jane,
Just created a little script to add the date/time (as on your machine not GMT) to replies here (see above) since I couldn't work out how to get Jont's to do it. Could've been doing something far more useful I'm sure!!!
You're crumbling? sounds serious!!!

Would you like a copy? - makes it easier to follow when posts made here. I only lifted the code from Jont and modified it slightly so not a lot of time wasted!!!

Clever boy!!! That's cheered you up!
As usual, remembered ISIHAC at 12:25. Must Listen Again. Or there's tomorrow isn't there.
Go on then - there's a challenge for you, to get me to use your clever time thingy.
Feeling yukky again today as in the holidays - sore throat and dry, irritating cough and blocked head - don't think this is the hayfever.
Gentle rain here so garden's happy.
Kitchen beeper's going....
MJ ho ho ready-made pizza in oven!!! Nice salad with it though - the cherry toms on the vine are DELICIOUS but cost almost a day's salary for everyone to have lots!
