Of course not, I enjoy the challenge of trying to sort something out for myself. If I get really stuck, I do ask, I'm not stubborn. But I enjoy trying to find out how things work and solving the problems myself - especially when it comes to programming. Actually I realised how rusty my JavaScript is (that's the language the script is written in btw - sorry if you know that) when I was trying to make some amendments this morning. If you don't use something it tends to get a bit rusty.

The sonnets have now been collected and printed. Couldn't get them done earlier because I got side-tracked by something!

I'll send you the sonnets. My friend Maggie (the Archers fan) read a sonnet from a book I'm sure you'd love: The Literary Companion to Cats by Clare Boylan (Pub. Sinclair Stevenson 1994). Or perhaps you already have it. She has 2 cats herself.

Cat Logic by Gavin Ewart was the name of sonnet, just been googling, some refs but haven't found text yet

Any idea how I can purrsuade my IDs to change into coloured names Andy? I don't get the little box when I click on the ID no. I've checked Manage User Scripts and all the right www.....dna/* thingies are in the Included box - also my pop-ups no longer pop-up. I told Achilles ages ago but he's obviously too busy to investigate. Reluctant to uninstall to start all over again as the colours are here.

Tried an early night at 10 but so blocked up I feel much better upright here. Maybe a medicinal nightcap would help knock me out!

I'm not sure what your problem is re the script - I might be able to sort it out but it's a bit difficult at this distance. I've been changing all the wafflers to green and you're still MabelJane 2125145 [tongueout] (tee hee)

Colours are held in yr pref.js file eg

user_pref("greasemonkey.scriptvals.www.jont.studioj.dsl.pipex.com/BBC_DNA_MB_AllInOne.2125145", "MabelJane 2125145 [tongue out]");

so if you know how to edit a text file, it's easy-peasy - if you don't, bit more tricky.

try some alcohol to combat the cold - it might not alleviate the symptoms but you don't really notice if it doesn't.

I wasn't looking out into the garden...actually we don't have any grey cats here now that the viscious/vicious neither looks right vishuss grey Siamese moved from next-door. He was cute when he growled and bit and scratched us as a kitten but he never grew out of it, purring one minute and launching an attack the next. I have the scars to prove it. Is your Mum's cat a British Blue? Been meaning to ask - he/she looks like he/she has some pedigree not like our moggies.

Night night - cricket tomorrow? Allotment digging? Or at least weeding and nurtruing? I've just been given 6 tomato plants - don't think they should be put outside in this awful weather as they're greenhouse grown. We have a large conservatory but it's not well enough ventilated to keep them in all summer - I would if I was at home as I could open all the windows more often but I have to close them unless someone's around. I could put them in there for a short while I suppose. My antirrhinums need hardening off and planting out as they've gone tall and weedy being indoors on an inadequately sunny window sill.

I should save my colours before changing to the Allinone script but don't know how complicated that will be so I may just start from scratch again. MJ - by the way I tried signing out but it wouldn't work - so I did try to go away!
