My eyes are still here - I've just looked in the mirror to check.
Don't rely on the eyes.

A moth is flapping around the ceiling - it must be summer, windows open and wildlife invading. What are you doing tomorrow? How's the (dare I mention it?) school work going? Have you potted your toms? Will I just shut up asking questions for a minute?

Just don't ask about the schoolwork...
are still in their (5"?) pots but I've tied them to sticks and are outside now it's warm so they might actually grow up now, poor things! Oh bu**er, I haven't protected them from snails - so I might not have any left by morning.
Supposed to be working tomorrow (really must - I'm running out of time) but might escape for a short while...I use ... too much don't I...
Night night

G'night Jane, I ought to turn in too since I was up so early for my non-existent assignation!! I spent a lot of this afternoon at the cricket dozing off but amazingly I've been wide awake this evening. See you tomorrow.

Morning Jane Quite hot already so I'll pop along for a bit more cricket soon. Durham's reply was 73-5 so I don't expect the game will go on into the 4th day (Saturday). Didn't get to bed when I'd posted the previous so couldn't resist this when I spotted you in the Bull http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/mbarchers/F2693943?thread=3132620&skip=99&show=20 but I expect you've seen it already. Oh gosh, was it 1-30? I'm sure I was going to disappear at 00-30. No self control, will be dozing off again at the match. A

Morning Mr D!
So you were spying on me in the Bull were you? Hmmm maybe I should create an alter ego...though that might mean I spend even longer on the MBs so perhaps not. But people are doing that to avoid the 3 mins pause between posts. However, new posters are subject to hours and hours in pre-mod so not quite so appealing now. So many new posters will be put right off by this.
Hope you see some much better cricket today.

cricket not vg - Durham recovered to score 359, a lead of 151 over Warks.
Durham team includes a G. Onions and P. Mustard - made me quite peckish!!

No, just checking that you were getting your spelling and punctuation correct. "Funicular" indeed, everyone knows it "fernicular"!!
More snap this eve. Novices introductory evening so we're not allowed to use any complicated bidding conventions - should be interesting.
see you later

Sounds like trying not to win playing Scrabble with a 9 year old! (Mind you, she beat Douglas and I think he was trying to win!!!)
