I just looked at the Pending version of the series Entry. Quite a nice image they've made for it, though I'm not sure about the depiction of Ifrit -- http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/blobs/finalfantasy.jpg , with the ALT text 'A fire demon and an ice goddess face a strange orb of great power'.
I'm now wondering whether the orb is supposed to be from any particular FF game.
