Dammit you had me fooled smiley - winkeye

Nice to meet you jack, thank you for taking away any chances I have of ever being unhappy ever again (in the corrupt-a-wish thread I meant. Dont look so scared!)

Anyway, I'm trundling home to cook some dinner and watch god (Ray Mears) eating soggy nettles and practice inefficient fishing techniques or whatever it is he's doing today... See you around! *doffs hat* good day!

Alas, no, as Harkness is quite cool (He's been in a TARDIS and runs a secret organisation for Zark's sake).
I also love Green Wing, Discworld, and anything Doctor Who.

8-o Now you're saying your not even cool! *shuns* lol. Just kidding, Green Wing is (was?) just awesome... And seriously hoping that the new series of Doctor Who blows the Runaway Bride out of the water cos it was rubbish!

Anyways, hope you're well.

Fine thanks, though I feel that the Runaway Bride was alright. It wasn't excellent though. I have a feeling that we havn't seen the last of the Daleks though.

Also disappointed that you're not the real Jack - but neither is he, so that's OK! Good to spot another Woodie around though smiley - smiley

I just felt it wasnt of the high standard I wanted as a christmas special, although it did open the way and remind us all that there's another series on it's way. We certainly havent heard the last of the Daleks though scuttlebut says it wont be the season finale this time around, I think we're expecting them mid season. And then there's the whole Jack/torchwood/doctor thingy going crazy smiley - smiley Suspect we might get riftage occurring near the end of the season. Should be good, jack meeting the new doctor AND the new companion! (and them meeting him)

Oops, sorry, I get a tad geeky. *hush now*

Yeah, they'll probably do a double-episode on the Rift. Why don't the BBC give them a bigger budget, 'cos every other week they're back in Cardiff.

I think the rift story is going to be interesting... And quite important in the doctor's side of things too... It's like Buffy and Angel... On the occasions they did cross over (and at least t/wood and DW are on the same 'network'... Far fewer problems!) it was always interesting! What do you think of the Gwen/Gwyneth (from dickensian DW epsiode) theories (same actress, similar name = ancestress and fellow rift-key???) Oooh! smiley - biggrin

That's quite interesting, actually. I've not heard that theory before. It sends likely in the weird world of Russel T Davies.
What do you think the recurring theme will be? Series 1 was Bad Wolf, and Series 2 was Torchwood, so I wonder what this one will be.

I too was hoping you were the real thing, ah well, I can keep dreaming!! smiley - blushsmiley - biggrin

I'm actually really glad they film in Cardiff and Swansea because if they were anywhere else I wouldn't be able to go and watch them when they're filming!! smiley - smiley

The Daleks have GOT to make a comeback, they are the funniest (and scariest smiley - yikes) things around, and what with them facing the Doctor AND Jack, that'll be fun!! smiley - magic

I, for one, can't wait for the next series of Dr Who and Torchwood, I'm addicted!! smiley - winkeye

P.S. It also means more gently drooling over John Barrowman and David Tennant, that's gotta be good!! smiley - tongueout

You get to watch Doctor Who behind the scenes?!?
You might be on Doctor Who Confidential on BBC 3!

If I lived in Cardiff, and I didn't think it was being done properly, I'd just run onto the set and tell Russel where he was going wrong! How much fun would that be?!?

Oh, I wish!! No, I don't get to actually go on set, but one of my best friends has a flat really close to where they film, so although we can go and watch, we haven't been picked as extras yet!! smiley - sadface

Still, it's good to see the actors and actresses makin muck-ups, makes the rest of us feel human!! Lol!! smiley - laugh

We still have hope of being discovered though!! smiley - sadfacesmiley - winkeye

That must be so cool though, finding out some of the plot lines before they are on TV.

Rumour has it the theme will be "Saxon", although I don't know what that means.

Face of BO! Face of BO! He said at the start of the last season they would meet again for the third time before he dies and he'll tell the doctor something important... I been watching S2 on teleport... It's amazing watching it again!!!!!

The daleks shouldnt be the climax of the season again though, it's too simple and predictable...

I hope torchwood hits higher lows and therefore attains higher highs... but it should be awesome anyway smiley - smiley

Of course! *clicks fingers in realisation* Face of Boe! I did hear a while ago that they'd meet this series, but I forgot. Clue for the secret repetition. I think they may have said it in The Runaway Bride when they were aiming their tanks at the star. "Mr ... says fire when ready" or somthing but I can't remember the name.

Post 17

Oh yeah, Boe said something in the cat hospital about The Doctor and he would meet three times, and then he'd tell the Doctor his secret. They've only met twice so far, so that's a definite possibility!! smiley - cheers

Certainly is... wait a minute, the doctor who site on the BBc has a clip showing what's in the next series.
And its got a Dalek in it.
And Mark Gatiss.

I adore Daleks! smiley - somersault

I know they're evil and want to take over the Earth, but they're still pretty cool!! There's a full size one in the Doctor Who exhibition in Cardiff, it's brilliant!! smiley - silly

Just had vision of Bo and the Doctor attacking Daleks.... FAB!! smiley - wow

That'll be "Daleks In Manhattan", which is apparently a mid-season two-parter and does what it says on the tin.
