Hmm, lights and light are a life time hobby of mine. Have read those entries too.

Less theoretical I am, always see resistors inside transformers smiley - winkeye sweeping them over the frequency band and loading the coils complex and heavy. "

The surfing turned out to be amazing in the end. Really good, thanks for asking. I wasn't sure if I should have out in more about surfing beacuase what I really wanted to write about was what I saw.

I could never really get the hang of electronics properly.smiley - wah

Traveller in Time smiley - tit a bit jealous
"Must have been great to surf, I never have time for anything . . anymore . . smiley - biggrin

I would get the impression you do have 'a hang of' electronics reading your entries. "

Well I do know know some things, being in third year of a physics course and all. It's just that electronics are probably my weakest point. I understand experiments. It's usually the theory of the harder stuff that gets to me. Op-Amps and the like. I don't really like capacitors in general either, I just get confused. I probably should have done a theoretical physics course. But how is a 17 year old meant to know what they want to do? That's how old I was when I started college.
