That's why I'd said a small and intimate type of pub. Nothing loud and raucous, just the kinda place where the usual 10 or 12 get to know each other well, slow and easy.

Unfortunately in my area the 10 or 12 who get to know each other are usally in their 60s and playing dominos...
The kind of places people my age go are the loud and raucous...
