In theory, my girl has a few years respite. Rebecca is coming on 8. But I've been a kind Daddy, giving her little reminders of this and that, things I met with her. So that as the young lady grows, as do her two younger brothers, ... she's some time to brace herself.

Reef, ... I can only suggest a small measure of comfort. Look in the mirror, and around you. Somehow, most Mom's and daughters survive the whole 'trial'. I do wish you every possible success.

I was basically an absentee Dad, and I don't know how much help I can be. Especially as a live-in Mom deals with a girl. But hey, if anyone thinks I've a few words that might help.

I was lucky, my two might have been stroppy, but most of their arguments were between themselves. Very rarely was I involved unless as a mediator. They both knew I was the one that disciplined and both hated the thought of Grandad finding out!!
