Good thoughts to save from R&E
Posted Mar 9, 2007
Ian, do you really think, our thoughts affects whether God exists?
I doubt that. He is Eternal and we are not. All He has to do, to win, is to outlive us all.
He never needs to say One Word.
So, the fact that God HAS communicated with human beings is a PLUS, that wasn't required of the one who programmed our DNA, to make us physically, what we are.
Yes, it's confusing. But so is the fact that the Universe is multi-dimensional and laws of physics differ from dimension to dimension.
We have to learn to live with, and sort out, confusion and ignorance.
That's what God does -- separate what's a real effect from what's still just an idea.

It was once described to me that in this world our time is linear, we live like we are in a car going on a journey with a start and finish point.
In the next world, it's a bit like a helicopter ride, you can see further ahead and make more accurate decisions because the outcome is more easy to see. Now, I don't know if that's quite right and I do know it isn't meant THAT literally, but......
That makes me think that God is working in many different dimensions with our lives so that as we grow and learn, our destination may change (become closer or farther).
If it gets closer. We will die younger but then a change is circumstances may mean that we meet a person to whom we can give more learning (although we are not conscious of that happening) and we may AGREE to stay longer to help them in their lives.
If we see our lives as that car journey we may be missing important possibilities that enhance our own lives.
I do not believe the end is pre-determined in any way, ever, for anyone.
I must add though, that I also believe you can die too young and not complete what you had to do.
I don't know what happens in that case, and have found nobody with an answer.

Wow!
Dying too early cuts off your access to learning how cause-and-effects operates.
So you have to come back and do it again. But if you're not part of one of the Covenants, you don't get to keep your memories and identity; so you REALLY have to do it over.
That much I knew. But you have certainly enlarged the space in my mind surrounding the idea of "dimension."
Thanks John.
John..
About your uncertainty of the realty of the occult.
The new testament does seem to teach us that there are evil spirits, and that some of them know certain things about certain people.
"And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and paul I know; but who are you"? (Acts 19:15)....
Notice how this evil spirit seems to mimick/counterfiet the warning of Christ - when Jesus was speaking about those people who denied him while on earth, and he said this to them...
"I never knew you"? (Matt 7:23) and the evil spirit said "Who are you"?(Acts 19:15)...
Of course, the reason why that evil spirit knew nothing about this person must be because God hadn't granted him any knowledge of him.
We see this in the life of job (Job 1:10) when satan asked God why had he put an hedge up around job, and not others? clearly, satan knew things about jobs family and wealth, and was permirted to test Jobs faith.
Its as if satan had said this "Job I know" ...but to his neighbour he could say "Who are you"?
This scripture - amongst many other passages - does appear to back up some of the claims of some of those modern day mediums, and spiritualists, etc. I can see no reason to doubt some of those mediums - genuinely believe - that the loved ones, of some of those individuals, who attend these kind of meetings are literally speaking to them through their mediumship.....
To us mere earth bound mortals, this is ridiculas. But the Scriptures are clear on this. It does tell us that evil spirits have some knowledge about certain people/families!
Christians consider these spiritualist meetings, as satanic! Its obvious, the ones speaking can't be the spirits of dead humans! The bible tells us, that our soul at death goes up to God. So christians would consider those spirits that speak through mediums etc, are simply evil spirits (demons)
I see no reason why christians should doubt some of those mediums. And that some of them are used by satan to litrally reveal secret things about certain people.
If the bible says that, there are evil spirits on earth, and that they are quite capable of knowing certain things, about certain people/families. i believe we should believe it ourselves!...then we will be armed for the spiritual-fight ahead!

Thank you for speaking to the Truth.
All meta-physical knowledge is NOT evil, in and of itself.
What is evil -- sorcery -- is changing someone else's circumstances without their consent, utilizing deception, inflicting disease or disability, or promoting genocide, one way or another so that people don't get to experience their experience.
However, knowledge itself is not evil. Knowing how the body's energy system is organized is not evil.
Knowing that there are other intelligent beings in the space around us that we cannot see is not evil.
The spirits test us by challenging our thoughts and watching to see how we respond.
They judge us by our thoughts because they may or may not actually see our behavior; so they don't know what our behavior is, without testing our thoughts.
We each can observe the behavior of others; so we don't need to test the thoughts of others. I KNOW.
Paul says, test people's thoughts. Well, you know, I don't go along with the teachings of Paul because Paul didn't go along with the teachings of Jesus.
Jesus said, Watch behavior. And when it came to dealing with different ways of thinking, he referred back to behavior and merely acknowledged their thoughts.
The testing of a spirit is the way that spirit gains information about our world because they don't have the physical senses that we have, and they don't experience their senses the same way that we do. But that does not make them bad or evil, unless they use their test to defraud us of our experiences.
Christians fear the Occult out-of-hand. So they avoid everything having to do with it, as if having knowleding itself is evil.
Well, the problem is, lacking knowledge is also evil.
We're between a rock and a hard place.

IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT.

IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It.
Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.
A day after a group of mainstream Muslim leaders pledged loyalty to Australia and her Queen at a special meeting with Prime Minister John Howard, he and his Ministers made it clear that extremists would face a crackdown. Treasurer Peter Costello, seen as heir apparent to Howard, hinted that some radical clerics could be asked to leave the country if they did not accept that Australia was a secular state, and its laws were made by parliament. "If those are not your values, if you want a country which has Sharia law or a theocratic state, then Australia is not for you", he said on National Television.
"I'd be saying to clerics who are teaching that there are two laws governing people in Australia: one the Australian law and another Islamic law that is false. If you can't agree with parliamentary law, independent courts, democracy, and would prefer Sharia law and have the opportunity to go to another country, which practices it, perhaps, then, that's a better option", Costello said.
Asked whether he meant radical clerics would be forced to leave, he said those with dual citizenship could possibly be asked to move to the other country. Education Minister Brendan Nelson later told reporters that Muslims who did not want to accept local values should "clear off. Basically people who don't want to be Australians, and who don't want, to live by Australian values and understand them, well then, they can basically clear off", he said.
Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques.
Quote: "IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians."
"However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the 'politically correct' crowd began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending others. I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to Australia." "However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand." "This idea of Australia being a multi-cultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. And as Australians, we have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own lifestyle."
"This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom"
"We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society .. Learn the language!"
"Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture."
"We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us."
"If the Southern Cross offends you, or you don't like "A Fair Go", then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet. We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did things where you came from. By all means, keep your culture, but do not force it on others.
"This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, 'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'."
"If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted."
Maybe if we circulate this amongst ourselves, American citizens will find the backbone to start speaking and voicing the same truths !
