Caricature

Caricature is 17.

He is loud and vaguely crazy. He writes too much, and is incapable of posting a short message. He is prone to bouts of depression. He wants to be a writer. However, he is writing romantic comedies. He hopes to be called 'The next Nick Hornby'. This makes him either (a) sad (b) like lots of other people or (c) deluded. He is listening to old music at the moment.

He is a part-time member of a critiquing group (Head to Toe). He is trying to write a novel, but is a bit stuck on it at the moment; it is not well enough planned, and he has run out of momentum. He gets by with a little help from his friends.

He is living in Newcastle and is trying to be imaginative in writing this.

He can tell you're not impressed.

At this moment in time he is playing The Cure's 'Friday I'm in love', which may tell you something about his work. He can be both loud and quiet; he's an avid reader and a big fan of Samuel Beckett, Nick Hornby and Chuck Palahniuk; he's recently written a play; he has little self-confidence, but bbc getwriting has changed that slightly; he's rapidly running out of ideas; he writes too much in dialogue; he's never been so great on description; he listens to Virgin radio and recommends you all listen to Belle and Sebastian and Fionn Regan. He's going to stop writing now.

What do you think of character development? I still think he looks a little shallow...
